Links to Websites I Like
This page is a collection of some of my favorite websites. It may seems
sparse right now, but I am always adding new pages that spark joy in my
heart.
People I Know
Wow! I know people! And they have websites! You should go look at their
websites RIGHT NOW!
Geology Websites
I am a geologist and I love a good reference, and research can be hard
while having to filter through all the metaphysical content. No hate to
the crystal girlies but they and I have very different reasons for
searching the words "pyrite properties" and I would really appreciate it
if pyrite's metaphysical properties didn't take up so much space on the
first page of my search results.
-
Alex Strekeisen
- lots of general information about rocks, great collection of thin
section pictures
-

a map of rockhounding sites with variable accuracy
-
Handbook of Mineralogy
- online compilation of PDFs for every confirmed mineral, essentially
identical to the print version
TTRPG Websites
I am a GM and I play mostly DnD so some of these sites are only really
useful to GMs or people who play DnD. I do want to expand my systems
repertoire so if you have any cool OSR systems or really anything with
an interesting crunch, send them my way. Also, I try to augment my
worldbuilding with randomness so a lot of generators will probably crop
up here eventually.
Accounts/Pages on Other Sites
This section is basically just links to accounts on various social
platforms that I've been enjoying lately. They are sorted by platform.
As my interests are constantly changing, this particular section will
probably update as I discover new accounts, with my most recent
favorites at the top of each platform section.
